A conversation I had with my sister yesterday.

I told her to reverse the order of those numbers. The numbers were 3 7 9 and 1. She got 1 9 7 and then got stuck so I said that there was only one number left and i even repeated the numbers. The number she was missing was 3. She said 4 instead.

The reason I did it was because the year J.R.R Tolkien died was 1973 and in the Lord of the Rings, there is a poem and the first 4 lines go
3 rings for the elven kings under the sky
7 for the dwarf lords in their halls of stone
9 for mortal men doomed to die
1 for the dark lord on his dark throne in the land of Mordor where the shadows lie.
Take those 4 numbers, 3 7 9 1, and then reverse the order you get 1973 the year he died.
