Was it all for naught? He was certainly a fool if the man ever dared to think that the most evil of things would not follow behind his footsteps. Outside of the unknown countries that bordered Tellius - Ike would recall a past, yet recent memory. It was blurry and covered in haze, though barely ― oh so barely visible.
Ike awoke to the sounds of glistening and pale blue light. Cyan flames licked the sides of his pauldron and fresh skin. It was a surge of energy.. Almost god-like. Ike would glance across the interior to find that he was alone. He saw what appeared to be a ghost that took the form of a small young girl. She resembled Mist, in some sort of way..
`` 𝘕𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘭𝘺 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘥 .. 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘪𝘵? 𝘐 𝘥𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢 𝘭𝘪𝘢𝘳, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘦’𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘰𝘵𝘩 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘢 𝘤𝘳𝘶𝘦𝘭 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥. 𝘐 𝘥𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘣𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶.. 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘢 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘮𝘢𝘯. 𝘐 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘦𝘰𝘳𝘤 𝘐 𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘮𝘦𝘵 𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘳. ``
Though familiar, Ike hadn’t had the uttermost idea of who she was or what she meant, when saying that nothing changed. Rubbing the back of his neck, the man had walked forward and knelt down. He didn’t want to seem intimidating, regardless of anything else that could have occurred. Other than that, he was most likely known well for being a beorc. How humorous.
`` 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯..? 𝘐’𝘮 𝘴𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘺, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 ― 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘮𝘦𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦? 𝘈𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 .. 𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘵? `` A foolish response, for the girl was a mere spirit. He would have assumed she was of a supernatural being. Nearly all vision lost, the mercenary rubbed his eyes and squinted - blinking rapidly in hopes that he’d be able to see clearly. At this state, Shinon would have poked fun and teased at Ike’s age growth.
`` 𝘐𝘬𝘦 .. 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘯 .. 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶? ``
`` .. 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩? ``
A piercing light had blinded the man once more, as he shook his head. Cold .. The feeling of snow had pricked his cheeks, as Ike soon opened his eyes to a land full of stone statues. It was snow that left a pure white blanket across what used to be green grass. Nobody seemed to have been near .. yet he needed answers. His pounding headache led to a conclusion that perhaps he should cut off the bottles during the late mid
