Keyword "temporary". You need to get as much out as you can in that time window.

I can get KOs in a couple of hits. It's easy.
Just fly at them, smack them off the stage, when they climb back up hit them with a combo and launch them into nowhere land.

That depends on how smart your opponent is, what characters are being used, and the stage. It's not like most opponents will just let you hit them, especially if you are too predictable and just mashing moves to get them offstage.

There is nothing predictable about my Street Fighter-esque button mashing.
