The worst thing was idiots believing that voting for an amnesiantic idiot who can’t even remember his own flippin name over someone who actually has braincells would fix the U.S. Its not that they like Biden, it’s that they hate Trump. Democrats? More like DUMBocrats

Trump was carrying out an anti-China policy when he tried to ban it. Even if his bottom was sore from millennial backlash, he hated and still hates China far, far more than them. It was not for the stated reason above.

I wish Trump banned Tiktok, not because it was made in China or whatever but because there is so much cringe there.

...we...we don't... we don't ban things that over cringe content. There's an ammendment you should be aware of.

Not to mention the videos of Trumpers on Tiktok, it's cringy and sad how much they praise Trump. Trump's practically a god to them.

I'm sorry but I remember opening that app once because I got curious, most of it's a hot garbage pile of random teens dancing and weebs.

Yes I know, I was just complaining about Tiktok and whining. Also, why did you post the same comment twice?

Because you're posting the same argument twice.

Fair enough.

*Because it ran on Asian internet protocols that were a major security risk compared to western https protocols. Once an american company bought it and made it safe with our internet, it was allowed.

But here's the thing, though: Trump didn't care about that until AFTER it inconvenienced him.

And courts don't like it when you didn't do anything about something you're now saying is bad until AFTER you find out if it was good or bad for you.

Here's an article explaining it

The case was originally opened by both a democrat and a Republican lawmaker, following India doing the same.

Still retribution on a private company for political action unfavorable to him.

Then why did he let it go once an american company bought it?

Haven't you noticed? He lets EVERYTHING go when he realizes that he can't do anything about it. Ted Cruz's sample ballots: "we don't care about that anymore". Lock Her Up: "Great sound bite but we don't care about that anymore". FROM THE BEGINNING, that's all he does. Even going further back, "I'll sue you" was a threat he would routinely use and ROUTINELY never follow through on!

He's an opportunist who tries any bullshit for about two weeks and then ditches it when it doesn't work, just like everyone told him from the beginning it wouldn't. And everyone noticed it but you!

But he said from the beginning that he would ban it unless an American company bought it. He didn't change his mind to allow after it was bought and he couldn't do anything. You're trying to make up fault where there is none. There is a lot to dislike about Trump, but this is just rediculous!

Or, fulfilling his duty as commander in chief to protect the country

Again, he never took action until after it inconvenienced him personally. Courts recognize this as evidence he was not acting as a sense of duty - people who act on duty take action long before the question of whether or not it favors them becomes clear.

Alright. I see your point. How close was his attempt at it to when they wrecked his rally?
