Seems to me like they were trying to piss off the radicalists who could be baited into rioting from the left and escalate them step by step so we could get to the point where they had refined their practice so far until police were having difficulty with them. They took notes and noticed how people were handling police.

What are the odds of everyone showing up to the capitol with riot gear? Did you see those guys who were filing throw the mob in complete paramilitary gear marching single file with a hand on eachother's shoulder so that they could work as a team?

in context, they are probably facing charges. the fact that they were intentionally provoking people to violence and walking away and calling it a "study" is my entire point here. a person can tweet, or meme, but to design a physical experience to provoke becomes party to assault. does it not? being there actually encouraging violence?

we can agree to disagree or you can correct my reasoning. social media is one thing, but constructing volatile situations is another. did everyone sign up for a cage fight?
