They weren't actually morons. Imagine if some 15 y/o kid went to the US Govt. and told them Hitler was back. How stupid would that sound? And even if it was true The US government certaily wouldnt want to be the ones to have to deal with it.

...and when the ministry actually saw that Voldemort was back all the ministry did was capturing people for being suspected of a death eater. And they just chucked them in Azkaban before knowing for sure they were a death eater. They do that because they want to let people know that they're winning the war against Voldemort when they are actually not.

This is true, and its actually rather smart of him because as long as the people think they're winning, they have advantage.

Actually, there was the very fact that people didn't know for sure if Voldemort was dead and Fudge didn't want to admit it because he is a coward. He didn't want to deal with all the panic and stress.

He's not a coward for not wanting to deal with the most dangrous wizard on earth. I dont blame him, i wouldn't either.

well...It's either that or tell everyone that he isn't back while people are dying.
