Wont step down, impeached again? What a clown

This is an honest question: Why do you think Trump should be impeached?

Personally, I believe the event of January 6th shook Congress to its core. I believe Pelosi and the Democrats are vengeful for seeking impeachment but Trump is guilty of inciting a riot.
Even Mike Pence was in danger that day .

But the question is “do I think Trump should be impeached ?”
I wish he would take the honorable road and step down. I would respect him for that.
Impeachment would eliminate Trumps ability to run in 2024. I don’t believe he should be allowed to run again,
So yes, as a last resort, I’m in favor of Trump being impeached.

Certainly, the riot on the 6th was a serious crime, but I don't think Trump intentionally incited it. Some of the language he used could be interpreted as incitement, but I think his intention was that people would show him support in a magnificent but non-violent way. One more thing you should realize is that Trump is never going to be president again. If he runs in 2024 I think most conservatives will agree with me that he will be too old to be president in 2028, when he would finish his term. I'm not saying that there aren't crazies who will still support him in a die-hard way, but most would much rather have Mike Pence or Ted Cruz or someone like them.

I agree with you that Trump should step down peacefully, which he has already indicated that he will do; what he should be doing now is trying to make the Democrats as not angry as possible with the Republicans.

Very well put. You made some points I hadn’t considered. Many hope Trump steps down. As I said, I believe he would gain respect for doing the right thing.
