That's the great thing about intellect - you care about things beyond those which only affect you personally.

And btw, it's ironic that you call this intellect when that isn't it at all. It would be compassionate empathy, there's even a case for sympathy.

Intellect is the objective understanding of academic matters. I mean, if you want to talk about the math of the meme I guess you could say that. But, this would only solidify my query because objectively, math as its own construct cannot affect you, only the sentiment behind it. That sentiment is not tied to intellect but empathy/sympathy.

It is an academic fact that abortion is murder. The philosophical acrobatics supporters perform in order to rationalize said murder is not.
