I could present articles with regards to all the studies that show police agencies, in general, are more than twice as likely to get violent towards “left wing” and minority protestors, but you’d just baselessly dismiss it as mainstream media propaganda bullshit and continue to live in your bubble of fantasy and denial.

So, on that front, it’s not worth my time to put in that work.

Here's a thought though, which I think you're overlooking: What is the ratio of police-on-minority minority violence in urban environments to rural areas. Secondly, how does this ratio stack up with the ratio of whites to minorities in urban and rural areas?

I don't actually know the answers to these questions, but I've long suspected that the seeming discrepancy in stats for police actions against minorities can be explained by noting that more minorities relative to whites live in cities (which also have a larger percentage of crime). This could vary state to state as well, so I won't make any claims without hard data, but if you could offer your thoughts I'd appreciate it. What you think is blindness could in fact be awareness that nothing but geographical demographics and statistics are running their course.

Now, with regards to riots being planned, well of course they were. Nobody is denying that (so far as I'm aware). Rioters have been using social media to plan events pretty much all year. Why were the Capitol police understaffed? I don't have enough info to make a claim either way, which has been my position all week and I refuse to change it.

Refusing to change a position is problematic, particularly if you’re saying you don’t have enough info but I have you a direct quote from a partisan source that states what both sides agree on: this must have been intentional.

There is no other reasonable explanation. Capitol police officers who were off-duty fully expected to be called in but never were. They knew there as going to be trouble and now they’re learning that some of the police force may have given some of the actual rioters a tour the day before.

It’s all a very bizarre situation.

It's not problematic...my point was that I still don't know enough about everything that happened there to make an assertive statement and I don't want to make claims that could potentially be erroneous. Once I read more sources I'll obviously make a call. I should note that up to this point everything I've seen and heard does point to there being serious breaches of protocol within the CP.

To equate it to another hot button topic, increased testing for COVID doesn’t cause the COVID number to go up, increased infections do. In other words, testing rates don’t run parallel to infection rates, which have consistently trended upwards.

If you look at the video footage of the riot at the capital most of them can be identified as white nationalist scum and other extremist groups.

But did you not see most of the video footage? including the one tape of the trump supporter sitting at the chair in the senate saying trump 2020?
