I think it would be difficult, but not impossible. I got an idea as to how it could work.

Idk, maybe on the next Gen console cuz if you look at Mario maker it would be too much of a stretch but if it was 2d it could work (but it would be crap)

I feel like the biggest issue would be how to make the different track pieces (wide / thin, straight / turn, sloped / flat, etc.)
