The book is about a trans girl who lives with her two aunts (only one of them is a real aunt, the other is married to the real aunt), who moves to a new middle school. The trans girl isn't comfortable with people knowing she is trans, so she tries to hide it. The school website is hacked and anti-muslim memes are put all over the page. The girl is an expert hacker, so she tries to help find the culprit.
