Yea, people inside the building are a real life threat. they could have a bomb, a biological weapon like covid or worse... the entire congress was there, so yea, they should have been shot at till they turned around and stopped entering the building.

At the moment there's not a ton of arrests, most of them are just for carrying pepper spray and such without a permit but I fear for what still may come
