THAT STONE WOULD MAKE SOME BEAUTIFUL KITCHEN COUNTERTOPS | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
As much as I love the beauty of it untouched, as a stone cutter I would love to see some of that come though our shop! Beautiful stuff!😎👍

I WAS THINKING THE SAME EXACT THING! | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
I can’t believe we had the exact same thought! That’s marble is freaking amazing. The yellow and blue inside a kitchen full of natural sunlight would be like having a piece of art right there on the counter. Mmmmm. That shade of blue is my favorite color in the whole wide world.

Yeah, we don't see much blue granite or marble jobs come in. Since it's rare, it's crazy expensive. The first pic is a slab we almost got to do, tge second is a job another fabricator did. The material was so cool, I had to steal the pic. (Though I would never take credit for someone else's work). Its called Blue Agate, I think.

That’s agate is so cool! I really like this labradorite too. So gorgeous. Yes! Very expensive.

Yes! You know your stone! Labradorite is awesome too! We stock Blue Pearl and Emerald Pearl granite, (both are from Norway.) I'm partial to the onyx and translucent marbles like this Lucient Vein slab.

I like the last one the best too. I’ve got Santa Cecilia in my kitchen. The slab I picked looked good with my cherry cabinets. It wasn’t off the wall expensive like some of the rare kinds.

That's a popular color. One of our top sellers is Santa Cecilia Light, which also looks good on cherry cabinets because of the contrast and garnets. Our kitchen is Giallo Veneziano. It's discontinued now. The newest fad is Quartz, which is man made, but I feel it's way overrated. Too many problems with it. I'll take natural stone every time!

Santa Cecilia light was my first choice...but the slab they had didn’t feel right.
I like that your photo has the granite going all the way up to the base of the cabinets. Mine stops about 4 inches up—and I’ve been trying to decide on a backsplash for a while now. So many cool options...😀

No, I dont think so. I haven't seen translucent man made stuff. Thats why a lot of people think engineered quartz is natural. If its natural, we usually refer to it as a quartzite to avoid confusion. This is an example of the manufactured stuff that everyone likes.

Gotcha. I’m with you—more partial the natural stone. 😀
