Sometimes parents do more damage than anyone else

I once wanted to be a singer but my parents told me that it wasn't a good profession and they told me to be a doctor instead. I felt like they thought I wouldn't make it as a singer or performer so I became insecure about singing.

Yeah, this is the worst kind of pain there is...I know it all too well.....
