try talking to your doctor the next time you see them, the doctor will try to help regardless of whether or not your parents think you are faking it. if you can't see your doctor soon, try scheduling an appointment asap, because the sooner you can the sooner you can get help

I'm not an expert, but I'd say tell someone else you'd trust. Like an older sibling, or an teacher at least.

I don’t have any siblings, and my only teachers are my band, chorus, and wind ensemble teachers. I’ve already told my best friend and she said she’d try to help, but other than that, I’m not sure.

My advice would be if you have symptoms of depression do things that make you happy and talk with someone you have a good relationship with about how your feeling also this helps me write down a checklist of goals for yourself everyday then once you complete said goals you will be happy and proud of yourself

It’s not that it doesn’t help, it’s just that I’ve done most of those things. Everyday, I FaceTime my best friends, that’s pretty much the only thing that makes me happy. I’ve told my very closest friend about it, and she’s trying to help. And honestly, if I wrote a list of goals, I wouldn’t get them done since I’m doing cyber school from 8:40 am to 5:00 pm

I'm sorry it doesn't help and if face timing your friends makes you happy do it more often at least your friend is helping you that's good.if writing a list of goals wouldn't work then you could try doing something new everyday like cooking or drawing

I'm not a doctor but I would say change your food and exercise pattern. try not eating sugar for a week and see how you feel, or caffeine or carbs. I know we all hate exercises but once we do it we feel better! Also I suggest getting a support animal, like a dog or something
