When she was 17, her father tried to kill her (hence why she has lots of stitches), then her sanity started slipping away, she ended up killing 2 little kids and then acted like nothing happened, until her brother died in a fire, at that point, she had, had enough of her father, killed him, her mother saw, so she killed her mother as well, knowing she probably would've called the cops and kept Alice from leaving till they got there. After killing her parents, she left the house, taking an axe and knife snd ran into the woods.
