Check out the album "Gretchen goes to Nebraska" , that's what got me into them . My favorite song is "Manic Moonlight"

After hearing what they have to offer my conclusion is that I still believe Live is better, but the point of this conversation was who is more underrated. I would say both Throwing Copper and Gretchen Goes to Nebraska are explosively creative but being that TC had far more success than GGTN you are correct that King’s X is the more underrated. Excellent music taste indeed

I’ll hear both that and the best of album. And in turn I made a playlist of Live’s stuff

I think the reason both albums were underappreciated was just bad timing. GGTN came out in the late 80's when that kind of magical melodic sounding rock was dwindling in popularity and grunge was becoming trendy, and TC came out in the mid 90's when Grunge was dwindling in popularity, plus shortly after Cobain's death, so lot's of fans considered Live a "poor man's Nirvana". Whatever the case, King's X has my respect
