Seriously, since when were democrats the party of freedom?

The two paries switched views in the 1960's.Seeing how FDR was a huge racist,and Obama wasn't.

Also, from historical data, there’s no reason to believe the parties switched views in the 60s. The Democrats may have changed the views they advertised, but they didn’t change themselves.

What I meant instead of 'seeing' how was for example.

LBJ was also racist. And Hillary has said racist things, but Biden’s racist comments are too much.

Actually, the Civil Rights movement was more about a manipulation to get votes more than giving rights to black people. And he always called that bill the n*****rbill. People have said that he signed the law despite the possibility of losing the south to the Republicans, but from what those very people hav said, it’s more likely he didn’t see that coming.

I’m not saying blacks shouldn’t have rights. I am all for them having rights, as I am mostly black myself. I’m just saying they should know the intentions of the people who did things involving them.
