My father-in-law carved these sculptures from wood. He painted them as well.

He made me a carved Grizzly Bear for Christmas a couple of years ago. The man was a Vietnam vet who does this for therapy. He does some amazing carvings and has won many awards for his work.

He said it was about 20 hours. I wish I was creative like that. Do have talent like that?

The wood it light and fairly easy to carve from what he said. The long part is painting it.
