Ingsoc is a form of totalitarianism that pursues the eradication of independent thought, the control of the past, present and future, conquering the entire Earth via atomic, chemical and biological weaponry and the ability of have complete dominion over the human mind to satisfy power, totalitarian thinking and become a subverted concept of 'God'. Eventually, Ingsoc will evolve into a form of hivemind collectivism where the oppressed are unaware of the consciousness and become similar to the Borg.
