Also, I should just note that official Catholic dogma (I'm Catholic, so I know a fair bit about our beliefs, but this does NOT apply to other religions since I'm not qualified to speak for them) very much opposes ever considering the existence of something a sin. LGBTQ+ folks aren't considered 'blasphemy' or anything like that, because we're not so obtuse to think that immutable characteristics (sexuality, skin color, age, mental capacity, etc) solely define a person. The choices we make define us, and you can't choose how, where, or when you're born. That's why we fully support equal civil rights for all; We may all live differently, and people are always going to disagree with others (be it about lifestyle, politics, etc), but those differences shouldn't define us.
