It’s especially annoying when you use your own photo that you took yourself and they say it’s stealing

This subject has been talked to death. Every time I see some kid accusing someone of "stealing" their idea I have to tell them this. Now that doesn't mean that there are no truly original memes. Because there surely are. Typically of the custom variety. But usually the more common ideas and subject matter are ideas that anyone can have and many people do have, and many of those people put them into memes. It does annoy me when I see people acting as though some massively common sentiment placed on some massively popular template is somehow an idea that only they could have ever thought of.

Couldn't have said it better. I just wish that other people thought of it that way.

Actually I disagree but agree at the same time I mean there are original memes cuz how can people copy memes if there is no original meme the original meme probably inspired someone to do something similar. But its especially annoying when they copy the same phrases just put a different template.
