clearly thats barely involved in survival mode and that's too obvious

it's not hardest to mine, its NOT even a block you can mine...?

you can mine it in creative

(you need a piston.)

Or you can mine the second block under it, place a torch and mine the block under the egg, that works too

yeah, but the problem is that the egg could teleport into the overworld, but i get you

its not really, its impossible to mine. I put the ender dragon's egg because it just teleports away...
