Shonen Anime creators often make their protagonists teenagers because most of the audience/readers are teenagers so if they make an anime/manga where the protagonist is already an adult the audience would have a hard time relating to the protagonist.

That makes sense. I wasn't really complaining, I just thought it was a neat little observation.
