In nine months, not in one frickin' day! 115,000 people die globally every day from countless things. Get some context and some perspective. You really, really need it.

So 4 Hiroshimas in the USA alone in 9 months is... you're not getting any sense of urgency from that? At all?

Let me know when you find the Fountain of Youth and learn the secrets of immortality. Until you find those things, people are just going to keep dying every moment of every day from countless things. And there's nothing you, I, or anyone can do about it.

Why should I? What's your point? 115,000 people die globally EVERY DAY. COVID is just a small fraction of that. If your point is "people shouldn't die ever" then you need your head screwed back on. If your point is "we should care that people die" you still need your head screwed on right.

The point is, these deaths were preventable. You are choosing to let these people die. People do not have to die from COVID if there are enough hospitals and doctors to take care of them where they are sick but you don't care about that so more people die than necessary.

I can't make you care about that, but that's why you should.

That whole idea of preventability is a realistic and philosophical fallacy. Get your head out of the sand. None of this could have been stopped, should have been stopped, or will be stopped. Life happens, and so does death. That's just how it is.

See, you say that, but the United States' death rate per capita is 11th in the world on this.

Almost 200 countries in the world and yet somehow the virus is deadlier when we get it.

If it couldn't be stopped, we'd be something like 100th in that ranking. So OBVIOUSLY there's something we're not doing that we should be doing to save those lives.

You seem to care about 70,000 who died in hiroshima more than Americans who die here. That was a war. Completely different circumstances and that Japanese Army was the most ruthless army to walk the planet. They cut off our soldiers ears. So to use them as a way to deflect current deaths is ignorant at best. Maybe read more about history before USING historical data.
