Ok so me and my 2 close friends decided to read the hobbit and lotr together. We have never read it before. We are planning on meeting up probably every week and discussing the book. Is there anything we should do extra to help the experience? We are all decently fast readers. How much should we read a week? Any tips? Thanks

Errr, well I think I read the Hobbit in 3 days once XD
I dunno, I haven't really done much group reading like that, but maybe I'd read like, 3 or 4 chapters a week depending on how long you want it to last, maybe more

How fast is pretty fast?

Me personally I finished the whole hunger games in about 3 weeks and the whole harry potter series in about 2 or 3 months. Friend 1 reads faster than that and Friend 2 is around my level
