"By the end of his second and final term on January 20, 2017, United States President Barack Obama had exercised his constitutional power to grant the executive clemency—that is, "pardon, commutation of sentence, remission of fine or restitution, and reprieve"—to 1,927 individuals convicted of federal crimes. Of the acts of clemency, 1715 were commutations and 212 were pardons."
So not forgetting this is 2 terms total but he had the highest numbers in 60 years without war events being pardoned/commuted. He has dirty friends and he let them off at rates Trump won't equal.
As to delusional, delusional is saying Obama didn't pardon himself because he didn't need a pardon or for his wife and teenage daughters.
Firstly what role or otherwise did 2 girls who weren't even at legal age by end of his terms possibly have done at all.
Secondly and more importantly a President can not pardon himself and as to Michelle she didn't do anything except make a crappy lunch program whose only benefit was making sure the poorest kids had something to eat. Which I would hope is not criminal. Obamas crimes will be known sooner or later, was it something criminal that went on when Obama told Putin that he would have more flexibility after the 2012 election. Why don't we know what was meant here? Did he mean more flexibility to divert monies from the food aid program into Russian oil interests. There was no critical thought applied or questioning to most things Obama did and yet he did many things which were far more likely to be nefarious than not and the media looked the other way.
Trump talk about pardoning will be based upon thwarting the rabid dogs who want to witchhunt. Personally I can't see that any father would be allowing his children to face years of superficial charges and made up infractions if that was the father perception of reality or would you think you would rather the rabid dogs perception of reality try and make them into criminals. When you can just avoid it.
I doubt you would allow any of your children to be put through that when you have a legal remedy afforded to you.
