Well............. Short answer, killing your past self is impossible.

We all live in a world where nobody went back in time and killed the first human (if you are reading this, then you are). That means that, no matter what we do, nobody will go back in time and kill the first human.

Ah time paradoxes my old friend.

Well, what happens is, if there are multiple timelines, half of them you're dead, and half you're alive

Your question is paradoxical. There is really no correct answer because humans only have theories about time travel. However, I believe the general feeling is that you would no longer exist in time A, when time A is the present (from which you travelled backward), but you would still exist in time B because even though you killed yourself in time B, you brought your time A self there. You could continue to exist there and then when normal time passed enough to get you to time A again, you'd then again exist in time A. It's really just a paradox that cannot be proven out because we have yet to master the science of time travel.

i think if you killed yourself you would after a little while cease to exist, but then if you killed yourself before you went back in time, you would never haave gone back to kill yourself so you do exist but then you kill yourself and get stuck in a time loop.

Yes, it loops, which makes it paradoxical. There's really no correct answer. It's possible that every answer is plausible.
