But beds don't stack. That is a real limitation. You can just bring wool and wood into the nether and craft them, but that still means 6 places in your inventory taken up for only one stack of beds

Still really inconvenient because you can still only craft so many beds at a time, then place the shulker box, take out some stuff, mine it, blow up a few beds and then start all over again. TNT is just much more efficient and blows up a similar amount

but beds are much easier to obtain which gets the job done quicker, with TNT you need a lot of sand and gunpowder which is a mission to get just 5 of sometimes, unless you get lucky, plus, string (which makes wool) can be easily obtaiined in mineshafts, strongholds, and villages, Gunpowder can be found in chests or by creepers.

Sand you can trade with villagers for, so its easy to get. Gunpowder can be farmed in huge quantities. All you need is a large scale creeper farm and a lot of sand villagers.

Wool can also be obtained in large numbers by making a very basic sheep farm, all you need is shears and a bit of wood and you're good to go. Farms can be hard for some people (like me) and require more work to make. You also can't guarantee you'll get the villager you need.

Well, you can just breed villagers. Creeper farms are also fairly easy to make, and if you are at the point when you are mining for Netherite, then you have the resources to make a creeper farm. TNT is easy to get. So are beds. TNT is easy to transport. Beds are not

Well an easy counter to your statement, the reason you would need a creeper farm is for netherite, if you need to do all that work, then that means beds are better for a first netherite hunt, and after a little research, I can also tell you that there are more ways to make beds, you have spider spawners, desert temples (these two also have gunpowder but wait) mineshafts and stronghold libraries have webs, piglins give string, and if we really wanna talk villagers, we have shepherds. And once again, you have shulker boxes, and before you complain about needing to go back and forth, first off, don't be lazy, second, it's not that complex, and if shulker boxes are too much, use an ender chest

I'm just saying, beds create a lot more fire than tnt and don't stack. believe me, if they did stack, beds would easily be better. The shulker box still takes up space in your inventory, and one shulker box of beds doesn't give nearly as big of a boom as a shulker box of tnt
