If you're a new user and you need people to notice your good memes you gotta post em in smaller streams. I never post anything in 'fun' anymore because it takes 30 minutes to disappear unless it's linked to face book or whatever.
Post your best stuff in small streams but make sure they have at least 50 followers or there won't be enough active users there.
