it's true though. kids will hate their parents if their parents do crap that's not only immoral and disliked, but also illegal, like verbal abuse.

i love my dad but, he lies to me and my brother forces us to do things that we don´t need/want to do
(like making us go on 2 mile runs every 2 days and punishes us if we don´t do it in under 20 min) tells us he would reward us for doing so and not actually doing it. disrespects the fact that we have friends over video games. and he doesn´t even consider the fact video games make me happy and alive. and he talks about empathy but can NEVER put himself in my shoes. he is loving and takes care of us but he has flaws. when he goes on trips and it is just me,my brother,and my mom the house is calmer and happier.
