It helps to find a style you like, try mimicking it but also adding a bit of your own style to it, and in about a year you might find something. I did that in fourth grade, two years later I'm still tampering with my artstyle but I've definitely improved. Another thing, don't ever get too comfortable with a style. Always find a way to improve, because you always can.

That advice is actually REALLY damaging to young artists because even if they practice forever and ever, if they don't try to accomplish anything different, it won't matter how much they practice because they can't grow. I first tried my best friend's style, then I tampered with it for a while and got the results I have. I just had to step out of the feedback loop of monotone stuff and improve. Now I'm constantly improving, and I really think you could do that too. Perfect doesn't exist, but really good does.
