She only useless in Naruto but in Shippuden and Naruto next generation aka Boruto shes a very powerful and useful asset to the group

except she never does anything and boruto has to much new weird bulllshit plot elements and to much plot armor for me to consider it a part of the naruto verse

I guess she doesnt do much but once she does do something she does it good
