Blame the states, their governors were more responsible for crisis response (or lack thereof) than the Feds.

Show me the video clip where he said, "let's inject Clorox into a patient's' bloodstream'

You won't find it, because it never happened.

What he said was that they were exploring ways to inject disinfectant on localized infection sites. The thing is, people heard disinfectant and didn't think about what it meant. While we use it interchangeably with 'sterilizer' which is an aggressive substance that completely destroys organic material, a disinfectant can be a perfectly benign substance as well, such as an antiviral therapy. What he was referring to was a potential substance they were investigating that could be injected on infection sites in such a way that it neutralized COVID viruses without causing any sort of harm to the patient. While he could have perhaps elaborated a bit better on what he meant by this, that in no way justified the gross overreaction of people to that press conference. In the entire transcript of the meme you do not hear once, 'bleach', 'Clorox', or any other dangerous chemical. All he says is that they're exploring potentially wonderous therapies. He never told people to do anything, just that the government was exploring options. Here's the transcript:

Your only making excuses for Trumps incompetence.
Imagine if Obama would have suggested what Trump had?
You’d be off the Richter scale

I'm not making excuses. You're telling lies. I'm debunking them.

If Obama said that the government was exploring wonderful new therapies to treat COVID I'd have reacted exactly how I reacted to Trump's news: I thought to myself, "That's kinda cool." and turned to my coworker and said, "I wonder how many years it is before us normal people will get them, eh?"

While this may be hard for you to understand, I didn't want Obama's head just because he was a Democrat and I'm not. I disagreed with him on many things, but he had a lot of admirable traits and was the duly elected President.

Lies? Trump tells lies.
You deny Trump lies?

I never said he always tells the truth. I'm saying you made a claim that, in this instance, was a falsehood. It's similar to when people on the right claim Biden is going to turn this country into a socialist nation. It's just not true.

As Trumps personal lawyer
Conspiracies and falsehoods are what Rudy Giuliani is claiming
Where’s your outrage for that?

Trump is the past, a failed experiment.
A Reality showman who produced drama over policy.
His historical legacy

I've said multiple times that I think Biden won and will be confirmed as President come January.

It's not worth my time to worry about how Trump and his team take that knowledge. As long as there's no reason to suspect an unfair election was run I don't care how someone takes a defeat. Trump will be out when Biden is in. It's that simple.

Wrong. once again, its everyone elses fault. No its not, its the idiots fault and why the USA has the worst state of infections and deaths in the entire world.

WHITE HOUSE

‘This is deadly stuff’: Tapes show Trump acknowledging virus threat in February
In a series of on-the-record interviews with Bob Woodward, the president struck a very different tone about the disease.

While he should have known better than to think Americans would panic in the face of a crisis, he's hardly alone in doing that. Pelosi downplayed the virus in February as well.

The Federal government is not responsible for drafting crisis-response plans for each state and ensuring each has adequate funding and other resources to be implemented when needed; the States are.

Trump had two jobs: Keep the virus out of the U.S, and if it got in he was supposed to ensure each state had access to Federal funds and resources if they couldn't handle the pandemic themselves. He failed miserably at the first, but so did every other country on earth. He did quite well at the second, but because it's less politically attractive to blame Cuomo or Inslee for the thousands of deaths in nursing homes than Trump (who wasn't involved in those decisions) get gets blamed.

Everyone deserves a share of the guilt, but people are heaping it on Trump. I only wish people would be levelheaded and objective in their criticism, not flying by the seat of their emotional pants.

Not for internal state affairs. That's a governor's responsibility unless they specifically ask the Feds for help. This is U.S law.

I don't care what Trump said about Pelosi, they both hate each other and it would hardly be the first stupid thing he's said. My point was the she, a Congresswoman (who has a staff who do have access to the same news as the rest of the world) was downplaying the threat of a virus that was ravaging China. The fact remains were were all arrogant before it got to us.

So you're mad at me for being mad that Trump was afraid he'd panic us? You saying he made a smart call by hiding intel from we the people?

No. Im saying that the reason he "played it down" aka "lied" is because he was worried about his poll numbers, not the health or good of the nation and her people.
