Well... I have a few stories on that too.

Here goes I assume.

It's hard to tell if friends you really know accept and want to deal with who you are. A lot of my friends turned their back on me when they discovered a couple of my social media pages, and they had the audacity to shove it in my face, causing me to go into a mental breakdown. The fandom was my last stand, and here I am.

Sounds like my worst nightmare...

So, first I'll talk about the art.
Great art, even though it's not yours, but you did admit it wasn't yours.
And now I'll talk about the protogen.
You should follow what you want to do with it. I haven't made a proto oc, but I can give you advice. Do you like this art? Don't try to replicate it. Strive to make it yours. If you don't like this art? Again, you should do what you like with this.
I know the struggle with not having an idea to make art, or anything. I am a soon-to-be famous bookwriter. In fact, I've finished one of my book, but that was 1 year.. for 68 pages. I experience major writer's block, and as a game dev, that gets even worse. You run out of ideas for games, and you start plagairizing (am I saying it right) to update it. My advice is to start with an idea, like this art, and then don't replicate it, but make it your own. Thank you.

Ok so... same guy who made the y did u become a furry.

I have a close friend circle that are very accepting and would accept whatever I say, but I have a bigger circle that, just, hate furries and I lie saying I hate them too (plz no offence) and I recently have been looking at furry art and the cuteness and colors make me really like them, particularity protogens and synths, they look so cool! But how do I tell people like this, and already they only see furries for the generalization of the nsfw stuff, I was always querky and different, and thats why I dont think people would be totally surprised, but I also have major anxiety issues, so a bad blow could really affect me,

lol sup, man. Listen nobody said you have to tell them. Tell your close friends and maybe just keep it at that. But (What I would do) is drop hints and when they get mad or make a joke be like STFU AND LET ME BE A FURRY (Jokingly obviously) SO that it's a little more light-hearted and you can all laugh about it. MY friends all tease me about being a furry and we all laugh about it because the stereotype is funny. Either way, what they think of you shouldn't matter and you should be comfortable and happy with yourself.

Damn, I have already dropped multiple clues and my close friends understand and care as long as im happy, which is nice to hear of course, and I asked outer friends that if I told them I was a furry, they mostly said ok with jokes here and there, im not rlly sure but eh, it does not matter in the long run!
Im also gonna try and sway my outer friends into, idk, not being a thicskull and seeing a bigger picture, like how some people use this to get away from their stress ful lives and be someone else, all it rlly took was someone to say nah m8 ur wrong. keep ya posted
