Spot-on! I was torn on using this image to talk about COVID-19, since so many people have called the virus a "hoax". But it was the best image I could find to talk about the fact that here in Iowa, when the weather service tells you a tornado is coming, we don't mock meteorologists and go running through the corn fields. We take shelter. In that context, the idea of taking a selfie in front of a tornado seems to me just like going out to eat or hang out a bar in the middle of a pandemic. If we could "see" what's coming, we'd realize what we're doing is ridiculous.
