Unfortunately, the Green Party has a ways to go before they get any consideration for a major political position in this country. They need to gain some traction at the grassroots level with positive results.
A progressive like Bernie in a cabinet position where he can truly influence policy successfully can help the country see that the “radical left” isn’t the boogeyman that the GOP made them out to be.
