ELIZABETH CADY STANTON WAS A WOMEN WHO WAS ALL FOR RIGHTS IS THE 19TH CENTURY. SHE GREW UP VERY HIGHLY EDUCATED AND SHE PARTICIPATED IN POLITICS, AND SOCIAL PARTIES BEFORE SETTLING DOWN. AFTER SETTLING DOWN SHE FELT SHE WAS JUST A WIFE, AND A MOTHER, SHE WAS LONGING FOR "MORE THAN THIS PROVINCIAL LIFE" SOON, SHE FOUND IT; AN ACTIVIST CLUB FULL OF LADIES WHO EMBRACE EQUALITY. THEY INVITED HER TO A TEA PARTY, WHICH INCLUDED LUCRETIA MOTT, THEY HAD ALREADY MET AT AN ANTI-SLAVERY CONVENTION YEARS AGO, BUT THEY WERE DENIED ENTRANCE BECAUSE OF THEIR GENDER. THE TEA PARTY WAS WHEN STANTON GOT ANGRY AT A WOMEN'S PLACE IN POLITICS. THE OTHER WOMEN REALLY LISTENED AND GOT ANGRY TOO, SO THEY DECIDED TO HAVE A PROTEST, TO BRING ATTENTION TO THE SOCIAL, CIVIL, AND RELIGIOUS RIGHTS OF WOMEN.
