Figured it out! 51 years ago it was 1969, and 1969 is the epoch year (I'll explain in a minute) for computers. (Here's where I explain) For most devices, time starts on December 31, 1969, this is known as "epoch time." If something does not have an applicable date, or the date is programmed faultily, the computer or device will automatically default to December 31, 1969. I have an emergency alert in my history that says it was sent in 1969 because I had problems with my phone when I receive the alert.
