Cicada's are fascinating insects with a unique life cycle and I am envious that they don't live here in England although I have seen them in the South of France !
I've no idea what 'insect' is in the photo (It's actually a large desk model tissue-dispenser !)

The meme itself, is more about the weirdness of old nursery rhymes - Another example that deserves a meme would be 'Rock-a-bye baby, on a tree top'
