I believe what you are referring to, you've made the assumption that the plan was to "sprint" to the finish line, where as i believe it's more of a marathon..

IF it is all true, and they are actually taking down a massive global organisation of corruption, it would take some time..
plus, they'd want the people behind them when they do it, I'm speculating..

To do that, they'd need time to gently inform the people about 'baby eating, adrenalised blood drinking satanic reptillian hybrids'..
otherwise it would freak too many out.

It's a big pill to swallow that Juniour (Senior if he IS still alive) may have faked his death to go underground and to plan and takedown his fathers murderers..a big pill.
