My theory is that Herobrine is a world generation glitch. and the reason why mojang didn't add fixed herobrine to the 1.16 update path notes is because they added so little in the 1.15 bee update that there wasn't a new herobrine glitch to fix. I've convinced quite a few people online that this is what herobrine is.

I believe it's just a creepypasta, but it's actually a good one, so let's try and keep it on and not ruin it like we did with alot of creepypastas (A horrible creepypasta game: Sonic.exe one example of a badly written creepypasta.)

Jk I believe that: Back in the alpha days, FOR TESTING, Notch made pigs look like Steve but the pupils didn't render. After they where done testing and released the snapshot, they forgot to change the pigs back, so for about 8 hours herobrine existed, but he didn't do anything different then a pig. Oh, yeah, they removed it. Those stupid snapshot things that say "Herobrine removed" are just stupid red herrings from Microsoft (Who bought Minecraft a while ago).

I think the thing that would prove my theory would be if mojang added a “herobrine removed” in the 1.17 update path notes. Also don’t be surprised if you get this in the patch notes either “netherbrine removed” (Really any nether based pasta would fit there)

I still don't think that little joke would convince me, but keep your faith up, cause I am a good lier... =3
