I assume nothing. I believe Joe Biden will win the election outright and I also believe that Donald Trump will contest the election, regardless of the levels of transparency and independent verifications.

I also believe there’s a pretty good chance that when Donald Trump refuses to leave office, whoever is the Speaker of the House will become the (temporary) POTUS on Jan. 21, 2021.

If the GOP has any hope of maintaining any shred of integrity, their best bet is to cut ties with Trump and McConnell and regroup. I don’t believe a Democrat-run government is any better than Republican-run government. The SCOTUS needs to remain balanced and compromises need to be made within Congress.
