Piglosi won't even consider passing a bill that just authorizes stimulus checks to the American people!. She won't agree to a very generous $1.8 trillion stimulus because her little pet projects aren't included. She's mad that she can't funnel that money into HER pocket.

It's hilarious you guys can't even make sense of the various narratives your party is putting out. Here's a quick timeline for you:

1) The House passed their $3.2T bill in May
2) Republicans acted like the virus would just go away for 5 months
3) The Senate GOP finally produced a $500B bill that didn't help anyone but their donors, and still couldn't pass it with a simple majority because 20 of their own members refused to support it
4) Moscow Mitch tells Trump it doesn't matter, because the Senate won't pass a bill either way
5) Trump stupidly tweets out that no bill is going to happen
6) Someone tells Trump he wasn't supposed to say the quiet part out loud
7) Trump announces a $1.8T package that there is literally no Senate GOP support for
8) All talks collapse because the Senate GOP won't vote for anything that actually helps people.

Let's talk about the here and now. It's obvious that Nancy is a control freak (like your user name). If even leftist CNN is begging her to work with POTUS and she STILL refuses, she don't GAF about anyone but herself. This is why members of Congress are seriously considering removing her as Speak of the House.
She is killing her party by being stubborn which is why even the Dems are telling her to work with POTUS. The people are suffering because she wants her special interests funded. The president simply wants a clean bill approving stimulus checks to the people but Nancy refuses.I guess as long as she has gourmet ice cream in her freezer the rest of us peons can just go f*ck ourselves.

The here and now is that the House of Representatives has passed a bill, and the Senate has not.

The House of Representatives has worked for months with the White House to come up with something that the Senate GOP would pass, and have been unable to.

The Senate GOP, which holds a four seat majority while representing less than 45% of the nation's population, have continually shown themselves to be incapable of legislating and need to be put out on their asses for failing their one job.
