Caster:
Creation Story:
After the Mothership's crash decimated the Perfaunt species, the demigod Caprisikorn was devastated. The Perfaunts had meant everything to him, and without them he felt aimless. He decided his problem would be solved if he created a new species to replace his beloved Perfaunts. To that end, he used his spiritual magics (and more than a bit of narcissism) to construct Casters in his own image, and named them after the zodiac of Earth that he so admired.
The first prototype Casters quickly differentiated themselves from the isolationist, perfectionist Perfaunts. This young species showed an innate skill for marketing and trade, and has been credited with revolutionizing the entire Griffian economy system. Gold had no value before Casters invented a currency system involving the metal, and it’s no coincidence that the largest deposits of gold exist on the Caprian continent. They view Caster society as the most advanced and important culture on the planet, though there are several differing opinions about just how the planet should be run. Because of this, Casters have split into several separate clans, developing into different subtypes and spreading out all over Capria.

These charismatic Griffians pride themselves on their individuality, and are known far and wide for having the tallest buildings and most stylish architecture in all of Griffia. They strive to remain on the cutting edge of excellence, technology, and innovation.
These highly-opinionated Griffians are known for their diversity. The various Caster tribes have highly competitive beliefs, each insisting that their version of Caster culture is the “correct” one. However, in this melting pot of ideas emerges true progress. Casters love a good debate, and will work tirelessly for months to argue to the best solution.
A semi-aquatic Griffolk, Casters are just as at home underwater as they are on land, and often find work in nautical fields. However, all Casters, having been imbued with Caprisikorn’s magic, have an innate understanding of the spiritual, magical
