The Birth of Agretha
A story that many learn as children in Agretha.
Many years, decades, centuries ago, farther back than you could possible imagine. The world was magic. Energy, and that was it. No elements, people, or even spirits. Just magical energy, raw in its purest form.
And then a large amount of energy grouped together, in the shape of a dragon. The queen spirit was born. The only entity in a universe made of magic and nothing else. So of course she was lonely, she knew she couldn’t make others with the way the magic had no direction and no way to control it. So she reined in all of the energy of the universe with a thundering roar, that of course nobody heard as she was alone. It took her centuries to do so but finally she had gathered every speck of magic into a single core.
Now the magic of the universe was contained and usable. So she got to work. She drew energy from the vast core and made four entities, the royal spirits. The Queen, the light, the dark, the future, and the dreams. Now she had companions
Of course the queen was not finished. The world was dull and plain, it was just her and the royal spirits. So she dew massive amounts of energy and created a world, a world with simple creatures who she Gabe the ability to evolve, grow, and most importantly she gave them the ability to pull energy from the core and use it.
And so the creature evolved. From small organisms that could only draw magic to survive and multiplying, to dragons as large as mountains. And over time it evolved into what it is today.
