true. But it rains a lot in western washington. Also, there are many people who go camping and don't stop the camp fire, so its also citizen's fault too.

I think man is at fault and not "Global warming". We have more trees now than at anytime in history. They do not log in washington or cali so these trees just burn with getting nothing out of them. Also forests burn so they can replenish themselves. So many things are the cause on not just a simplified "global warming".

but also the geography too. you won't see many fires in western washington cuz it rains like everyday here, because of all the mountains. The other part is just plains and plateau, so it good enough to burn. In california, there is a drought, so the wood are more dry and very likely to catch on fire.

good points. I used to live in the mid west and we never had fires because of the rain and humidity. It is so dry out here. We had 1 rain storm in the past 120 days. We are suppose to get rain Saturday.

There is no "global climate" california is very dry and hot, therefor making it more susceptible to wildfire. And Texas is very humid and rainy, making it less susceptible to wildfire. The cali fires are caused by a mixture of that and human intervention, (not being responsible human beings) but also the LACK of human intervention. (not enough controlled fires)
