Actually asking this question I hope my science teacher doesn't kill me

Any questions about the lesson? If the earth wasn't pulled in to the sun by gravity anymore and we didn't have light or warmth could mirco living things that are used to SUPER cold temperatures and darkness possibly survive until the earth gets pulled by gravity to another star and have them evolve and adapt to light and warmth again and possibly if the star is big enough melt ice surrounding the planet and creating land again to make land animals and maybe humans again? MY TEACHER; ME; No Ma'am; Nope
