The funniest thing is that absolutely no one panicked. The right declared it a sacrifice/it’s not real/it’s not a big deal and the left, quite frankly, turned collectively turned into the Joker meme of “you get what you f**king deserve”.

I have no sympathy for him; here's a man who has shown ZERO sympathy for the 200,000 plus average Americans who have died from Covid, here's a man who has made fun of Hillary contracting pneumonia, here's a man who's made fun of the disabled, here's a man who's obstructed justice, here's a man who blames everyone else for his incompetency, here's a man who won't denounce white supremists while sending dog whistle messages to the to incite violence, here's a man who has a hissy fit whenever someone criticizes him.... quite frankly I'm glad that Karma has hit him like a freight train.

I’m all about giving the benefit of the doubt, but when you are given the opportunity to denounce a specific organization, and your response becomes that organization’s rally cry literally overnight, the doubt is gone.

Then, the following day, he claims to not know what the Proud Boys are, when the FBI says that far-right extremist groups (of which the Proud Boys are) are the greatest domestic threat to national security. Trump must’ve skipped out those security briefings, too.
