Black face was used to mock black people for white entertainment in the mid 1800s, it started right after the abolishment of slavery, at the time white men would riot, murder and destroy anything that belonged to black people another way to poke fun at them was through Black face. There is no such thing as “White face” no historical meaning to it at all. It’s just an excuse for white people to minimize Black face which does hold historical meaning to it. It’s like saying the N word is the same as calling a white person a Cracker.
